We, at DYPDC Center for Automotive Research and Studies, Pune, had the pleasure of interacting with an Italian business delegation during their visit to India. This delegation is being organized by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE (The Italian Machine Tools, Robots and Automation Manufacturers’ Association) and ASSOCOMAPLAST (The Italian Plastics and Rubber Processing Machinery and Moulds Manufacturers’ Association). They visited DYPDC on October 13, 2011, to know more about the kind of programs we run, the kind of things we do and were visibly impressed. We had a very fruitful discussion regarding prospects of working together in the future.
UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE and ASSOCOMAPLAST launched earlier this year, an innovative project named PLATFORM INDIA, coordinated by Professor Luigi Serio of the Economics and Business Management Department of the University “Cattolica” in Milan. It is at the back of this Project that this visit to India becomes an important one to them.
This Project’s main goal is to support ASSOCOMAPLAST and UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE member companies in creating an on-site system of trade and production to replicate the successful “Made in Italy” model, and strengthening the reputation of Italian technology in India. India is a preferred market due it’s fast developing market, characterized by interesting perspective potentials.
The delegation is in Pune between 10th till 14th October 2011 to delve deeper into the Indian business environment and to better understating the developing guidelines, the cultural aspects, the industrial and social background characterizing the “way of doing” of already active sector companies, banks, legal offices, etc.
