Ever whistled at a passing Porsche 911? You have Ferdinand Alexander Porsche to thank. Gaped open mouthed at the vrooming by Harley? Go sing songs of praise for William S. Harley, William A. Davidson, Walter Davidson, and Sr. Arthur Davidson. Worshipped that red Ferrari poster in your room day and night? Go kiss the hands of the designer.
An automobile designer gives the car its soul. He breathes life into it. Automobile designers are artists. Automobiles are their love, their babies, their blood, their sweat.
Automobiles are free of egotism, passion, prejudice and stupid ideas about where to have dinner. They are, literally, selfless. A world designed for automobiles instead of people would have wider streets, larger dining rooms, fewer stairs to climb and no smelly, dangerous subway stations - P. J. O'Rourke |

| Chief Mentor |
When Dilip Chhabria chose to go to the Art Center of Design, Pasadena, USA, he'd already ambled down the road less travelled, on a road unheard of. In times of engineers and doctors and lawyers and journalists, he went to one of the best design schools in the world to pursue Transportation Design.

| Experiential Learning |
One of the beliefs at DYPDC College is to accord every student an opportunity through integration of basic knowledge and conceptual aspects with hands on training and practice in a real life work environment. |
| |
|
 |
| Integral Learning |
The Integral Learning Framework at DYPDC College provides larger awareness to its students and faculty in terms of the changing context of today's economic, social and environmental realities. The framework provides our emerging designers a perspective on being a complete human being immersed in the larger good.
